The MegaSquirt Land Rover Project:
Between October 2016 and May 2017, the undersigned carried out a project in which a classic engine was equipped with sensors and actuators, making it fully functional using a computer-controlled engine management system. For this, a so-called “MegaSquirt II ECU” was used. The engine is mounted on a mobile frame and is used for educational purposes. With a laptop, the data in the freely programmable engine management system can be adjusted, and an oscilloscope can be used to measure the signals.
Not only the engine, but also the research and the work carried out, are made available for education. Therefore, it was decided to publish the documentation in this way on my website. Interested parties who want to gain more insight into the operation of the engine management system, or those who wish to carry out a similar project, can study this documentation. Due to its large size, the documentation is divided over six pages.
