Comfort, safety and HVAC

Modern vehicles incorporate more and more systems that contribute to the comfort and safety of the driver. As for the comfort system, we can think of electrically adjustable exterior mirrors: the driver can easily adjust the mirror while manoeuvring, so that the car can be parked close to the curb.

The “safety” category includes systems that help to limit the damage in the event of an accident as much as possible (for example the airbag and crumple zone), but also systems that help to prevent an accident, such as driver assistance.

The subpages behind the tile “Climate and HVAC” contain all subjects related to the climate facilities of the interior. HVAC stands for “Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning”.

To prevent a vehicle from being stolen as effectively as possible, the central door locking system is equipped with a so-called roll code, and the immobilizer can only be deactivated with a correct key code. The systems that prevent unwanted access to the vehicle are classified on the overview page of “security and access”.
