Comfort, Safety, and HVAC

Modern vehicles increasingly incorporate systems that enhance driver comfort and safety. Regarding comfort systems, we can think of electrically adjustable side mirrors: during maneuvers, the driver can easily adjust the mirror so that the vehicle can be parked close to the curb.

In the “safety” category, systems are included that help minimize damage in the event of an accident (for example, the airbag and crumple zone), as well as systems that help prevent an accident, such as driver assistance.

On the subpages behind the “Climate and HVAC” tile, all topics related to the interior’s climate control are listed. HVAC stands for “Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning.”

To prevent the vehicle from being stolen as effectively as possible, the central door locking system is equipped with a so-called rolling code, and the immobilizer can only be deactivated with the correct key code. The systems that prevent unauthorized access to the vehicle are categorized on the “security and access” overview page.
