Targa Roof:
A targa roof is a roof that can be opened in one or more sections. By manually removing a panel from the roof, you achieve a convertible-like effect. In the past, these (usually glass) roof sections could be disassembled and, for example, stored in the garage, then reassembled upon returning home. Nowadays, there are also glass roofs that open and close electrically.
The targa roof was conceived by Porsche and has been used by Porsche as well as several other car brands (such as Nissan).
