- Targa roof
A targa roof is a roof that can be opened in one or more parts. By manually removing a panel from the roof, you get a kind of convertible effect. In the past, the (usually glass) roof parts could be dismantled and, for example, stored in the shed and reassembled when they returned home. Nowadays there are also glass roofs that are opened and closed electrically.
The targa roof was devised by Porsche and has been applied by Porsche as well as several car brands (such as Nissan).
